My first priority with any student is to find out what they want to accomplish, and help them get there. I use a personalized approach--every student learns differently, and at different speeds.
I offer recitals and workshops for students to show what they've learned, and to learn from each other.

I always had an interest in being able to play folk music and I have had several years of formal instrument classes in school and at instrument stores. However, with instructor Geoff I feel like I am finally moving beyond just how to successfully make notes come from my instrument towards how to play *music*, learning the why behind the whats.
Taking lessons from Geoff has been a wonderful experience. He accommodated my needs for a location for lessons and expanded my knowledge of music and comfortability playing a new instrument while pushing me to meet my goals. There is never a bad lesson and he focuses on what your goals are and meets you there.
